Packaged solution or managed solution - you choose!

The TransparentSea Reporting Solution consists of three modules:

       1. TRS Builder - The report creation tool used by vessel inspectors and surveyors, who build reports by            creating hotspots on digital versions of a ship's principal plans. The hotspots are colour coded,            indicating whether a finding is good, bad or questionable. Textual reports are filed under each            hotspot, and keywords are defined for subsequent search and analysis. Textual reports are            supported by the inclusion of digital media files (i.e. photographs, video clips, audio files). Reports            can be generated in standard MS Word or PowerPoint formats, with automatic positioning of textual            reports and digital media files in relation to the hotspots on the digital vessel plan used.

           The TRS Builder is available in two versions:
           a. The Full-Fledged version enabling uploading to the TRS Repository (see below), with full Public                 Key Infrastructure (PKI) security.
           b. The Scaled-down version, with full report creation and generation functionality, but with no Internet                 uploading capability and not including PKI security.

  
     

 

       2. TRS Repository - The server on which reports are uploaded from the TRS Builder, and on which full           access permissions to download reports to the TRS Builder and view reports via the TRS Viewer are           managed. The TRS Repository includes the Active Directory Service system that manages relationships           between authorised users, and the PKI components providing non-repudiation and tamper-proofing of           reports.
 

       3. TRS Viewer - An internet download of similar size to Adobe Acrobat Reader enabling authorised           parties to view reports. Utilises PKI components to make the digital handshake with the TRS           Repository server that initiates secure transmission of data from TRS Repository to TRS Viewer via a           standard web-browser. Keyword search within a report is enabled using the TRS Viewer.

          TransparentSea Limited also offers a hosted solution for organisations that wish to outsource the           management of data.
